Now in Public Beta

Furl opens
its doors to everyone.

After six months of private testing with 200+ early access teams, we're opening Furl to the world — the fastest way to route custom domains to any platform, at the edge, without code.

"We built Furl because we were tired of explaining to clients why their blog couldn't live at /blog."

If you've ever tried to point /yoursite.com/blog to WordPress, or /landing to Webflow, you know the pain. The tools that make each section of your site best-in-class were never designed to share a domain. So you end up with a subdomain — blog.yoursite.com — which fragments your SEO, confuses your visitors, and silently hurts your brand.

Furl fixes this. It sits at the edge of Cloudflare's global network — 260+ locations worldwide — and routes incoming requests to whichever platform or server you've configured for that path. Nothing breaks. No code, no deploys, no DevOps.

What's launching today
Subfolder Proxying
Route any path — /blog, /docs, /shop, /app — to any external origin, invisibly. Supports Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix. Custom-origin support is coming soon.
New
Redirect Rules with Wildcard & Regex Support
301 and 302 redirects with named parameters (:slug), wildcard paths (/*), and full regex — matched at the edge. Bulk import up to 10,000 redirects via CSV.
New
Custom Domains with Automatic SSL
Add two DNS records. Furl provisions a TLS certificate via Cloudflare for SaaS the moment verification passes. Certificates renew automatically. Supports apex, www, redirect, and alias domain types.
New
A/B Traffic Splitting with Statistical Confidence
Split traffic between two origins at any ratio. No JavaScript, no flicker. Furl runs a two-proportion z-test continuously and can automatically switch all traffic to the winner when significance reaches your configured threshold (default 95%).
Beta
Edge Analytics — No JavaScript Required
Real-time traffic analytics collected at the Cloudflare edge. Visitor identification uses a daily-rotating hash of IP + User-Agent. Full IP addresses are never stored.
New
Webhooks & API Access
Manage Furl programmatically via our tRPC API with team-scoped API keys. Receive real-time HMAC-signed webhook events for domain verification, A/B test winners, and configuration changes.

Changelog — Beta → GA
New
Regex redirect support
Match complex URL patterns with capture group substitution. Set isRegex: true on any redirect rule.
New
CSV bulk redirect import
Upload up to 10,000 redirects at once. Row-level error reporting so you can fix issues without re-uploading the entire file.
Updated
A/B test statistical model
Switched from chi-square to two-proportion z-test. More accurate for conversion rate experiments with unequal variant sizes.
Updated
Real-time visitor counter
Active visitors in the last 5 minutes now stored in Cloudflare KV with a 5-minute TTL — sub-second updates.
Beta
Webhooks with HMAC verification
Ten event types now live: domain.verified, domain.error, route.created/updated/deleted, redirect.created/updated/deleted, ab_test.started, ab_test.winner_declared.
New
Audit log
Every configuration change — who made it, what changed, when — stored in the audit_log table and queryable from the dashboard and API.
Updated
KV propagation time
Route config now propagates to the edge in under 1 second on every save — down from ~3 seconds. All 260+ nodes update simultaneously.

What's coming next

Public beta is the beginning. Here's what we're working on for the months ahead:

  • —Click and form conversion events for A/B tests — track conversions beyond URL visits, including custom JavaScript events.
  • —Wildcard domain support — match any subdomain with a single rule. Essential for SaaS and multi-tenant applications. Agency plan only.
  • —Advanced white-label controls — expand branded portal controls beyond login, invite flows, and collaborator shell branding.
  • —Request rate limiting and WAF rules — protect your origins directly from the proxy layer without additional infrastructure.
  • —Terraform provider — manage all Furl resources as infrastructure-as-code.

A note on pricing

We wanted to be transparent: private beta was fully free. Public beta introduces our pricing tiers, but we've kept the Starter plan free forever — 50,000 requests per month, no credit card required. If you were a private beta user, your account has been grandfathered onto the Growth plan free for 60 days.

We believe routing shouldn't have a paywall for individuals and small teams. If you hit the Starter plan's limits and want to stay free, email us — we'll figure something out.

Thank you to every person who tested Furl during private beta, filed a bug, suggested a feature, or just told a friend. This launch belongs to you as much as it does to us.
